Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hinkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Park Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Park Jr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Wild Rover. Jay Park Jr will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Hinkley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Park Jr! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hinkley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hinkley prevents Park Jr from improving his position. Park Jr tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hinkley slows the pace down in half guard. Hinkley is looking to stall here but Park Jr recovers full guard. Park Jr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Park Jr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Park Jr is tying to control. Hinkley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hinkley tries to get to full guard but Park Jr has control of the leg. Hinkley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Park Jr on the ground. Park Jr looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Park Jr sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hinkley defending well though. Hinkley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nice strikes from Park Jr there. Hinkley trying to control from the bottom.
Park Jr is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hinkley defends it well. Hinkley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Park Jr scores with a push kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hinkley drives through and clinches with Park Jr against the cage.
Hinkley goes for a takedown attempt but Park Jr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Hinkley could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Park Jr shoots in for a takedown but Hinkley shows good takedown defense. Hinkley keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Park Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hinkley as he jumps to the side. Park Jr with a lazy takedown attempt and Park Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Adam Hinkley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Park Jr. Park Jr looks gassed! Park Jr shoots and misses and Hinkley counters with a one-two to the body. Hinkley closes the distance and clinches. Hinkley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Park Jr is trying to keep an underhook but Hinkley manages to get the takedown into half guard. Hinkley winds up and cracks Park Jr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Park Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hinkley's guard. Park Jr with a flurry of punches that miss. Park Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Park Jr slips nicely into half guard. Park Jr prevents Hinkley from improving his position. Park Jr working the head and body with strikes. Park Jr wants to control but Hinkley is keeping him busy. Park Jr is looking for a kimura here.

Adam Hinkley dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Park Jr tries to clinch up and Hinkley counters with a nice double leg into guard. Hinkley scoring with some ground and pound. Park Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Park Jr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Park Jr wants to sweep but no luck. Hinkley prevents Park Jr from getting back to his feet. Hinkley gets to his feet - Park Jr follows without any prompting. A low kick from Park Jr is predictable there and Hinkley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Park Jr's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hinkley stands and throws Park Jr's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hinkley working the ground and pound from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Park Jr is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hinkley's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hinkley slows the pace down in half guard. Park Jr tries to get to full guard but Hinkley has control of the leg. Park Jr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Park Jr wants to control but Hinkley is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hinkley stopping the sweep attempt from Park Jr. Park Jr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. That's three minutes gone in the round. Hinkley on the wrong end of some ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Hinkley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hinkley is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Park Jr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hinkley tries to buck Park Jr off but Park Jr is having none of it. Park Jr working the ground and pound but Hinkley is defending the strikes. Hinkley is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Hinkley is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hinkley feints and as Park Jr raises his hands in defense, Hinkley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hinkley keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Park Jr's head. Hinkley trying to control but Park Jr is working from the bottom. Park Jr looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hinkley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Park Jr doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Park Jr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee warns Hinkley that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Adam Hinkley dominated that second round. That's time! Hinkley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Park Jr misses with a jab, cross combination.
Park Jr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hinkley to the mat! Hinkley manages to get full guard. Hinkley throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Park Jr with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Park Jr chips away with some ground and pound. Park Jr is pushing down on Hinkley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hinkley is fighting to maintain full guard but Park Jr has managed to sneak the leg through. Park Jr wants to pass the guard but Hinkley is defending well. Park Jr decides to stand and escape the position. Jay Park Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Park Jr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hinkley counters with a takedown into side control. Park Jr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Adam Hinkley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hinkley moves nicely into side control. Hinkley in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Hinkley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Park Jr to his feet. Hinkley shoots in looking for a takedown. Park Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Hinkley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Park Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hinkley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Park Jr's guard. Hinkley stands up from guard. Let's bang! Park Jr tries to clinch up but Hinkley circles away and keeps his distance. A nice leg kick lands there from Park Jr. Park Jr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hinkley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hinkley.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Hinkley preventing the sweep. Hinkley wants to get up but he can't break Park Jr's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Park Jr is pulling down on Hinkley's head. It's preventing any offense from Hinkley, at least for the moment. Hinkley lands a couple of digs. Park Jr looking for a sweep. Not yet Park Jr, not yet. Hinkley throwing strikes from guard but Park Jr blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hinkley trying to control but Park Jr is working from the bottom. Hinkley gets to his feet. Park Jr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hinkley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Park Jr is desperately trying to improve his position but Hinkley has a good base and remains in mount. Hinkley landing strikes from the mount and Park Jr is in trouble! Park Jr throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Hinkley lands a heavy elbow. Hinkley lands with some strikes. Hinkley tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hinkley prevents Park Jr from getting the reversal.

Park Jr tries to roll over but Hinkley keeps him under control. Hinkley throwing shots but Park Jr is blocking nicely. Park Jr is pressing down on Hinkley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Park Jr wants to sweep here but Hinkley controlling him for the moment. Park Jr wriggles free and stands up.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Hinkley showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hinkley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
