The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peppers misses with a leg kick.

Peppers throws a leg kick
and Otaktay counters with a head kick.
Otaktay lands the left hand.
Otaktay's corner calls for a 1-2. Otaktay obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Peppers throws a head kick but Otaktay moves out of range.
Peppers throws a quick inside leg kick.
Otaktay rushes Peppers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Peppers tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Peppers scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Ahiga Otaktay has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Otaktay has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Peppers clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Otaktay is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Peppers has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Otaktay has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Peppers taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Otaktay doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ahiga Otaktay!
