Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Djavan Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State of Mind. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter wants to clinch up but Ferreira keeps it at a distance.
Carter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ferreira.
Ferreira darts in and clinches Carter up against the cage.
Ferreira lands an elbow just above Carter 's eye.
Carter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carter kicks Ferreira off and gets back to his feet.
Shawn Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ferreira's head backwards.

Djavan Ferreira showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
