Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lester Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Collin O Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Reilly closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hall did well to prevent O Reilly getting side control.
O Reilly seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hall tries to get to full guard but O Reilly has control of the leg.
Hall missing with punches from the bottom.
Hall tries to roll over but O Reilly keeps him under control.
O Reilly wants to free his trapped foot but Hall is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hall preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
No joy there for O Reilly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
O Reilly scores with a nice head shot.
Hall shoots in for a takedown but O Reilly shows good takedown defense.
Hall takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hall walks into a straight right hand from O Reilly.
O Reilly takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses.
O Reilly tries to clinch there but Hall circles away.
Hall doesn't succeed with the takedown
and O Reilly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

O Reilly throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
O Reilly scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Lester Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Hall with that takedown attempt.

Hall tries for a takedown but O Reilly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
O Reilly thuds a left hand into Hall's body.

O Reilly feints a jab promting Hall to slip. O Reilly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hall slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
O Reilly goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

O Reilly looks to land a combination but Hall avoids it well.
Hall dodges the punch combination from O Reilly.
Hall slips a jab and a cross from O Reilly.
Hall shoots in looking for a takedown but O Reilly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

O Reilly closes the distance and pushes Hall back into the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

O Reilly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
O Reilly misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hall misses with a wild body shot.

O Reilly fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hall sprawls well initially but O Reilly persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall is doing well to control the position and prevent O Reilly from advancing to side control.

O Reilly seems to be working for a kimura but Hall defends the submission attempt.

Hall shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Hall shoots in but O Reilly avoids the takedown attempt easily.
O Reilly is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hall fails to land with a series of punches.
Hall shoots in for a double leg but O Reilly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
O Reilly closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

O Reilly leaves Hall with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hall shoots in for a double leg but O Reilly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Collin O Reilly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

O Reilly pushes Hall off but Hall dives into side control.

O Reilly takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but O Reilly keeps working.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
O Reilly stops Hall from passing to mount.
O Reilly tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Hall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The referee asks Hall politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hall prefers to stall for the moment though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hall sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but O Reilly is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

I would just about give that final round to Collin O Reilly.
