Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sunnah Hadith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Carioca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hadith's entrance music is Been Away Too Long- Soundgarden. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadith avoids the head kick by Carioca.
Hadith drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hadith is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Carioca is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Carioca has escaped and now he's on top!
Hadith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carioca gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hadith throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hadith had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carioca defends it easily.

Carioca got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hadith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carioca has managed to get both his arms back between Hadith's legs - danger averted.

A jab from Hadith finds it's way through Carioca's defenses.
Carioca takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Hadith jumps guard and drags Carioca to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Hadith is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Carioca frees his head nicely. Oh but Hadith has switched to an armbar! Carioca is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A relieved looking Sunnah Hadith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
