The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvez thuds his shin into the meat of Carvalho's side.
Carvalho is breathing heavily.

Alvez lands a big head kick that sends Carvalho tumbling to the mat! Alvez takes a step backwards and waves Carvalho back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Anderson Carvalho has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alvez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Alvez seems to be stalking Carvalho here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Carvalho drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
