Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmanuel Bredenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsumi Nasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bredenberg comes into the arena with Heja Bamse blaring out of the sound system. Nasu has chosen Shura no Hana as his entrance music. Emmanuel Bredenberg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Emmanuel Bredenberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Katsumi Nasu! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Nasu lands. Bredenberg takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A head kick misses from Nasu. Bredenberg checks the leg kick. Bredenberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nasu. Nasu misses the shot to the body. Nasu scores with a decent looking hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. An inside leg kick lands from Bredenberg. Nasu misses with a hook. Bredenberg avoids the body shot from Nasu.
Bredenberg shoots and misses and Nasu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bredenberg with a jab. Nasu thows a left - swing and a miss! Nasu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bredenberg. Nasu tries a head kick but it misses.
Bredenberg fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bredenberg shoots in and bounces Nasu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nasu wants to stand but Bredenberg is controlling the position. Bredenberg slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bredenberg tries to free his leg and advance position but Nasu is retaining full guard. Bredenberg not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nasu keeping full guard, as Bredenberg tries to pass. Bredenberg slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bredenberg tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Bredenberg in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Nasu is being controlled here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bredenberg wants to control but Nasu is keeping him busy. Nasu being controlled for a moment. Bredenberg trying to control the position but Nasu is working away. The referee asks Bredenberg politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bredenberg prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bredenberg tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bredenberg throws an elbow but Nasu slips to the side and avoids it well. Bredenberg thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bredenberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nasu keeps working. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emmanuel Bredenberg dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nasu throws a body punch but Bredenberg moves out of range. Nasu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bredenberg throws a right and a left that Nasu avoids nicely. Nasu lands a really nice looking cross but Bredenberg seems unphased.
Bredenberg shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nasu keeping moving, preventing Bredenberg from controlling successfully. Bredenberg sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bredenberg looking to pass the guard. Bredenberg controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Emmanuel Bredenberg wasn't doing enough on the ground. Bredenberg doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nasu misses with a body shot.
Nasu scores with a one two! Bredenberg had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Bredenberg shoots for a takedown but Nasu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bredenberg throws the left hand but Nasu avoids the punch easily. Nasu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nasu connects with a leg kick. Bredenberg looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Bredenberg fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nasu avoids it really well and circles away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bredenberg on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nasu. Nasu obviously looking to wear him down.
Nasu cracks Bredenberg with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Emmanuel Bredenberg has been cut. Nasu lands with an uppercut that bounces Bredenberg off the cage and back into range. Bredenberg will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emmanuel Bredenberg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bredenberg shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bredenberg slips a jab from Nasu. Nasu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bredenberg lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nasu circles away quickly and effectively. Nasu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bredenberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Nasu. Donk. Nasu catches Bredenberg right on the button with a cross. Bredenberg moves out of range of the body kick. Emmanuel Bredenberg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bredenberg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bredenberg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nasu.
Katsumi Nasu seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nasu takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Bredenberg throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nasu is looking to clinch but Bredenberg is avoiding it.
Nasu misses with a left hand and Bredenberg counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nasu's knee momentarily. Nasu moves out of range of the strikes. A big left from Nasu misses. Bredenberg on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bredenberg throws a body kick that misses. Nasu misses with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nasu connects with the punch. Nasu misses with a straight right. Nasu swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bredenberg. Bredenberg takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Bredenberg fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Nasu checks it well. Bredenberg loads up on a big right hand but Nasu slips the punch. Bredenberg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nasu pinned against the cage. Nasu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bredenberg misses with a body kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bredenberg slips a straight right by Nasu. Nasu scores with a punch to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Katsumi Nasu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Emmanuel Bredenberg's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Bredenberg thuds his shin into the meat of Nasu's side. Bredenberg throws a wild body kick that Nasu sees coming a mile off. A jab lands there for Bredenberg. Nasu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Katsumi Nasu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bredenberg shoots in and drives through. Nasu sprawls well. Nasu misses with a hook. Bredenberg ducked under it nicely. Nasu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nasu wants to clinch up but Bredenberg keeps it at a distance. Nasu fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Nasu lands a head shot. Nasu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bredenberg's corner calls for a 1-2. Bredenberg obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Nasu misses with a double jab.
Nasu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Katsumi Nasu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bredenberg throws a sloppy head kick and Nasu moves out of range easily. Nasu fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bredenberg is out of range. Nasu throws a sloppy head kick and Bredenberg moves out of range easily. Bredenberg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nasu as he jumps to the side. The fighters circling - Nasu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bredenberg tries to move into range but Nasu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Nasu throws a big shot that misses. Bredenberg moves away from the strike by Nasu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bredenberg throws a push kick but Nasu slaps the foot to one side. Bredenberg scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bredenberg fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nasu sprawls well initially but Bredenberg persists and gets the takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bredenberg is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bredenberg trying to control the action but Nasu is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bredenberg is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nasu is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Still in half guard, Bredenberg seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bredenberg sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nasu defending well though. Bredenberg wants to free his trapped foot but Nasu is holding on for dear life with his legs. Nasu wants to stand back up but Bredenberg manages to pass into side control.

Bredenberg misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Bredenberg trying to control the position but Nasu is working away. Bredenberg is really struggling to control Nasu but he's trying to hold on to the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bredenberg tries for a kimura but Nasu is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Emmanuel Bredenberg showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bredenberg has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
