Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Kwaak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zio comes to the cage accompanied by Old Mcdonald had a farm. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwaak fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Zio.
Kwaak is looking to score with low kicks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Zio takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kwaak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kwaak stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kwaak manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zio has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kwaak to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zio is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kwaak pulls down on the head and he's put Zio to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sam Kwaak!
Sam Kwaak spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
