The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell closes the distance and clinches.

Augustus gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Russell regains guard.
Augustus drops back looking for a leg! Russell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Russell manages to kick Augustus off! Augustus jumps back into Russell's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Russell wants to sweep here but Augustus controlling him for the moment.

Augustus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Russell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Augustus.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Russell drops Augustus with a beautiful combination! Augustus stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Russell is looking for the KO!
Augustus is rocked!
It looks like Nero Augustus has been cut.
Russell gets a clinch.
Oh Augustus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice left hand lands by Russell.
Russell stops a takedown attempt from Augustus.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Russell dips a shoulder and cracks Augustus with a mighty uppercut! Augustus falls back against the cage and Russell unloads with a barrage of strikes! Augustus is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Russell screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ason Russell!
