Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Big Jeff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cheetah Landala!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Landala gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Landala is working an open guard so Jeff takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Landala scores with a jab to the jaw.
Jeff just misses with a punch to the body.
Jeff stuffs the takedown attempt from Landala. Landala gets slowly back to his feet.
Jeff blocks a head kick by Landala.
Landala avoids the head kick by Jeff.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jeff looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Landala!
Jeff taking a breather here.
Jeff has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jeff connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Landala some visible discomfort.
Jeff content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jeff stands up.
Landala tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Jeff counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jeff is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Jeff working Landala over with strikes.
Jeff stalling.
Landala trying to control from the bottom.
Jeff keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Jeff stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Landala gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Jeff counters with a shoot takedown. Landala fights it but they end up in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jeff controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Landala can't keep his opponent in guard - Jeff advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Jeff controlling the pace.

Jeff is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Landala is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Big Jeff!
