Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Earl Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ste Passmoor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes to the cage accompanied by LL Cool J. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Sanders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ste Passmoor! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders shoots in for a takedown but Passmoor shows good takedown defense. Passmoor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Passmoor controls the position. Passmoor advances to full mount. Passmoor controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Passmoor looking to secure an arm triangle but Sanders defends it well. Passmoor controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Passmoor thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Passmoor tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sanders keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sanders is breathing heavily. Passmoor with good strikes from the mount here! Passmoor punishing his opponent with strikes. Passmoor controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Despite being in the dominant position, Ste Passmoor just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanders pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Passmoor has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A nice right hand lands inside from Passmoor. Sanders is looking to break free of the clinch but Passmoor has double underhooks. Passmoor lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Sanders wants to break free but Passmoor has control.
Sanders blocks the elbow strike.
Passmoor's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Sanders is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Nice elbow from Passmoor. Sanders pulls guard. Passmoor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sanders is trying to hold Passmoor in close to prevent damage but Passmoor has managed to pass into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ste Passmoor dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A slapping leg kick lands for Passmoor.
Passmoor forces Sanders back against the cage and clinches. Passmoor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Passmoor shoots in and drives through. Sanders sprawls well. Passmoor blocks a head kick by Sanders.
Passmoor has closed the distance and engaged Sanders in a clinch.
Passmoor will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sanders up against the cage. Passmoor trying to land knees to the body.
Passmoor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Passmoor avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sanders wants to clinch up but Passmoor keeps it at a distance. Sanders looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanders doesn't manage to clinch there - Passmoor circles away.
Sanders stuffs the takedown attempt from Passmoor. Passmoor gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders misses with a head kick.
Sanders shoots in but Passmoor avoids the takedown attempt easily. Passmoor gets a clinch. Sanders tries to break the clinch but Passmoor is controlling the position. Nice elbow from Passmoor. Passmoor misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sanders.
Sanders is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sanders wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Passmoor has him pressed against the cage. Sanders is trying to break the clinch but Passmoor has him pressed against the cage. Passmoor using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sanders has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Passmoor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sanders uses from the top position. Sanders wants to control from the top but Passmoor keeps moving. Sanders looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Passmoor throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Sanders works a leg free and moves into half guard. Passmoor is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sanders's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sanders's back! Passmoor has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sanders's body.
Passmoor working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Sanders is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Passmoor has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Sanders taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ste Passmoor!
