Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Coton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Weimar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weimar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter The Sandman by Metallica . I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franz Weimar! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coton rushes Weimar and presses him up against the cage. Weimar on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Coton comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Coton tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Weimar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Weimar is trying to drag Coton to the mat but Coton just about manages to keep his footing. The fight stays on the outside here - Coton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Weimar tries for a takedown but Coton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Weimar has his takedown stuffed and Coton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Weimar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Coton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Weimar is in Coton's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Weimar with a nice head shot there. Weimar stopping the sweep attempt from Coton. Coton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Weimar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Coton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Weimar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Horrible takedown by Weimar or perhaps it was just good defense by Coton which made him look bad. Nice takedown defense from Coton. No joy for Weimar on that attempt. Jamie Coton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Coton has managed to clinch.

Coton lands an elbow inside that Weimar shrugs off. A nice glancing elbow lands by Coton. Weimar wants to take the fight to the mat but Coton manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coton with a knee to the head.
Weimar is rocked! Weimar takes an elbow to the forehead. Weimar is still on wobbly legs! Can Coton finish him? Weimar is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Coton is defending well. Coton lands an elbow that stopped Weimar in his tracks for a moment. Weimar fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamie Coton dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coton creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Weimar! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Coton.
