The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novak lands a right hook to the body.
Novak cracks Pintaric with an open hand slap.
Pintaric moves out of range of the strikes.
Novak moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Novak lunges at Pintaric with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pintaric's hand.
Novak throws a body punch but Pintaric moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Novak throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pintaric sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Novak drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pintaric tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Novak.
Novak is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pintaric pulls him back up using the underhooks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pintaric tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Novak's elbow.
Novak tries to throw a body punch but Pintaric avoids it by throwing Novak back against the cage.
Novak is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pintaric to keep the fight standing.

Novak paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pintaric gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Pintaric displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Novak throws out the jab.
Novak drops Pintaric with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pintaric! Novak dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
