Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrus Ansip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrus Ansip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bryan Fury!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ansip fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fury, pushing him back against the cage.

Fury manages to break the clinch.
Ansip avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fury throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fury fails with a takedown attempt.
Ansip avoids the head kick by Fury.

Ansip shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ansip was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

I would not like to be Ansip right now.

Fury is looking for a choke. Ansip gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Ansip manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Andrus Ansip wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Fury with a lazy takedown attempt

and Ansip holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Fury struggles to land a body shot inside as Ansip controls his hands.
Fury goes for a takedown attempt but Ansip pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Andrus Ansip has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Fury.

Fury shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ansip pinned against the cage. Ansip gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fury tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ansip sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fury somewhat.

Fury shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ansip pinned against the cage. Ansip gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fury moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ansip feints and as Fury raises his hands in defense, Ansip changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ansip feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ansip stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fury swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ansip wants to stand and escape but instead Fury has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Fury misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Ansip on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ansip tries to get out of the position.

Fury is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ansip can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ansip wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bryan Fury showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
