The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Dias.
Stanley falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dias makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dias moves forwards but Stanley connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Stanley scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Stanley misses with a straight right.
Dias slips a jab from Stanley.
Stanley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dias under the eye.
Dias misses with a body shot.
Stanley blocks a head kick by Dias.
Dias lands with a kick to the ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A swing and a miss from Stanley.
Stanley thuds a left hand into Dias's body.
Stanley getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Stanley has a takedown stuffed.
Dias lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stanley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Dias wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dias misses with a straight left.
Dias tries a head kick but it misses.
Dias takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stanley lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stanley takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A bone on bone clash there as Stanley blocks the leg kick.
Dias stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stanley.
Dias attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Stanley shoots in for a takedown but Dias shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stanley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dias.
Stanley looks to land a combination but Dias avoids it well.
Dias slips a straight right by Stanley.
Dias throws a head kick but Stanley moves out of range.

Stanley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dias counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stanley shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Stanley. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dias with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Adolfo Dias is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stanley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dias throws a chopping leg kick but Stanley manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Dias misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Stanley counters with a single leg into guard. Dias didn't expect that.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Stanley throws a strike but Dias rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Stanley has a closed guard, preventing Dias from standing up.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Stanley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Stanley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dias is looking for a sweep. Stanley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stanley passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dias!
Stanley tries to control but Dias wriggling away.
Stanley with a couple of short strikes.
It looks like Adolfo Dias has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stanley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The referee warns Dias that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The cut above Adolfo Dias's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Stanley is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dias is surviving well by controlling Stanley's body position as best he can.
Dias is in a horrible position here. Stanley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Adolfo Dias's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Adolfo Dias's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kyle Stanley!

A very excited looking Kyle Stanley made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
