Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pari An (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Danza Kaduro as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pari An! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lorenzo Diaz! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.
Diaz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. An looks to land a left hand but Diaz moved out of range nicely. Diaz lands a nice hook to An's body. An takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Diaz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches An napping and manages to drive through into side control! An is trying to control Diaz's posture but Diaz avoids it. Sloppy strikes there by Diaz. An stops Diaz from passing to mount. An is trying to control Diaz's posture but Diaz avoids it. Diaz landing a few strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz in side control lands a decent elbow. That's one minute gone in the round. An wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! An tries to improve position but can't. Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. An is working to avoid the ground and pound but Diaz connects with a decent elbow. Diaz lands a nice forearm strike. An takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
An is rocked! Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with An. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. An struggling a bit here. Diaz working the head with strikes. Diaz throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Diaz cracks An with a big right hand but An just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Diaz working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Diaz.
Diaz looks winded! An takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Diaz throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Diaz fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Diaz sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but An is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Diaz in side control lands a decent elbow. Diaz throws a strike aimed at the side of An's head but An avoids it well. An wants to control but Diaz postures up. An is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Diaz throws a strike aimed at the side of An's head but An avoids it well. Diaz working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Diaz cracks An with a big right hand but An just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Diaz is just content to waste time from the top position. An takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Diaz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Diaz throws a big elbow that misses. An is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Diaz postures up in An's guard and throws a big left but An blocks it. An is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but An is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. An preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. An pulls Diaz in to control the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ref stands the fighters back up because Pari An just wasn't active enough. Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.
Diaz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Nice takedown defense from Diaz. No joy for An on that attempt. An shoots for a takedown but Diaz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lorenzo Diaz dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Diaz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Diaz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. An defending well though. An has one foot on Diaz's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Diaz feints and as An raises his hands in defense, Diaz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. An has a closed guard, preventing Diaz from standing up. An utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. An uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Diaz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. An plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. An goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A jab from An misses. An tries to clinch up but Diaz circles away and keeps his distance. Diaz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Diaz throws a body punch but An moves out of range. Pari An is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diaz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from An. Diaz gets the takedown into side control. Diaz scoring with punches from side control. An wants to get back to his feet but Diaz drags him back down. Diaz trying to control the position but An is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz scores with punches from side control. An might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. An is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. An taking punishment in the form of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. An sneaks back into half guard. Diaz is keen to just control but An is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. An avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Diaz. An has hold of Diaz's hands but Diaz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. An manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. An tries to clinch but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diaz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A decent looking body kick lands there for An. An rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Diaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent An stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Diaz scores with a jab. Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by An. Diaz is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down An rather than just go for the knockout. An wants to clinch up but Diaz keeps it at a distance. An tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diaz swats him away and circles back towards the center. An takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Diaz leaves An with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. An tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diaz is in An's guard. An not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diaz lands a couple of elbows. Diaz throws a big right hand that misses. Diaz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. An throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diaz chips away with some ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diaz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lorenzo Diaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! An's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
An tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Diaz swivels and escapes. Jab from Diaz. Nice jab there from Diaz. Diaz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Diaz has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Diaz moves into range and connects with a jab. Diaz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with An, pushing him back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Diaz's face as he tries to break the clinch. Diaz wants to get back to striking at distance but An won't allow it.

An avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. An looks to land a right hand but Diaz moved out of range. An has his takedown stuffed and Diaz counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. An gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Diaz clinches up with An and pushes him back against the cage. Diaz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Diaz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. An smiles and moves away.
An fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diaz avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pari An. That's going to take a lot out of him. Diaz dodges the punch combination from An.
Diaz throws a combination. An tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Lorenzo Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Diaz tries to clinch and An counters with a three punch combo that has Diaz backing up. Diaz nods at An to acknowledge the strikes. An looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. An takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Danga de danga de dang - Diaz scores with a four punch combination! Nice takedown defense from An. No joy for Diaz on that attempt. An closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diaz to the mat! Diaz manages to get full guard. Diaz working a defensive guard but An manages to pass into side control anyway.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An decides to stand up, so the ref orders Diaz to his feet. Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Diaz scores with a hook. An takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. An is looking to clinch. Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Check out the look on Diaz's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
You can see the frustration on An's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. An manages to work his way to half guard, despite Diaz's best efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on An's thigh. An counters though and makes it back to full guard. An is looking to stand up but Diaz isn't so interested in that idea. Diaz scoring with some ground and pound. Diaz trying to control but An is working from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! An looking to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diaz chips away with some ground and pound. Pari An has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Diaz looking to sit in guard and control but An gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! Lorenzo Diaz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Diaz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
