Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Stud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Stud! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stud throws a combination that misses and Mir counters with a nice body shot. Mir manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stud on his heels. He'll look to pass Stud's guard now, I'm sure. Mir sitting in guard here, content to control. Stud is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mir is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Stud escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mir gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mir is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stud is working an open guard so Mir takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Stud misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stud shoots and misses and Mir counters with an outside leg kick.
Mir shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Stud on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stud wants to control but Mir is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mir content to control rather than advance. Nice strikes from Mir there. Mir prevents Stud from improving his position. Stud trying to control here.
Stud looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Still in half guard, Mir seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Stud taking some punishment here, with Mir in his half guard. Well, if Mir is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mir is looking to advance position but Stud won't allow it.
Frank Mir has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Stud shoots for a takedown but Mir saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stud tries to clinch up and Mir counters with a one-two to the body. Mir clinches up with Stud and pushes him back against the cage. Stud goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mir prevents it.
Frank Mir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Stud. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A frustrated look appears on Stud's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mir breaks the clinch.
Mir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stud is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Mir working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Mir dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stud fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stud fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mir checks it well. Mir shoots for a takedown but Stud saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Stud wants to clinch. Mir's corner calls for a 1-2. Mir obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Stud pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Mir shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stud napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mir has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Stud! Mir looking to secure an arm triangle but Stud defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Stud is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Frank Mir! Frank Mir tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
