The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jonson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jurri avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jurri avoids the head kick by Jonson.
Jurri throws a body punch but Jonson moves out of range.
Jurri looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jonson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jonson slips a straight right by Jurri.
Jonson knocks Jurri to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Jurri is rocked!
It looks like Kari Jurri has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jurri wants to control but Jonson postures up.
Oh Jurri is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jonson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jurri down.
Jurri is looking to reverse the position.
Jonson has an Americana. Jurri didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jonson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jonson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Jon Jonson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
