Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Bob !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joker Smile!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smile rushes Bob and presses him up against the cage.
Smile is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Smile working hard to break the clinch.
Bob keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Smile's efforts to push away.
A frustrated look appears on Smile's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Smile is looking to break free of the clinch but Bob has double underhooks.
Smile wants to get back to striking at distance but Bob won't allow it.
Smile can't break the clinch.
Smile wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bob has Smile pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Smile manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bob fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Smile breaks from the clinch.
Bob is looking to clinch.
Bob shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smile manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bob trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bob trying to control the position from guard on top but Smile is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bob will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bob Bob has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Bob decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bob is trying to control the action in half guard but Smile is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Smile blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bob .
Smile wants to stand back up but Bob manages to pass into side control.
Bob tries to stand but Smile is controlling his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bob is working to tighten is grip on Smile's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Smile has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bob is really squeezing tight and eventually Smile passes out! Bob breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bob Bob !
