Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Talbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Josh Collins enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Talbot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josh Collins! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Collins. Those never looked like landing. Collins moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Collins closes the distance and lands a one-two. Talbot throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Collins wants to clinch up but Talbot keeps it at a distance. Talbot fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Collins avoids it really well and circles away. Collins clinches up against the ropes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Talbot is looking to break free of the clinch but Collins has double underhooks. Collins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Collins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Collins misses with a hook. Talbot ducked under it nicely. Talbot shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Collins napping and manages to drive through into side control! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Talbot throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Collins is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Talbot is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Talbot content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Talbot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Talbot thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Collins managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Talbot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Collins is looking to regain half guard here but Talbot keeps moving and retains side control. Collins wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Talbot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Collins is not content to let Talbot control the position. Collins tries to escape but Talbot is in control. Collins is looking to reverse the position. Talbot trying to control the action but Collins is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Talbot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Collins is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Talbot off and has taken his back! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Collins controlling from the back. Collins controlling well, preventing Talbot from escaping the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Josh Collins hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Collins pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Talbot back to the ropes. Collins follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Collins drives through and clinches with Talbot against the ropes.
Collins tries to pull guard but Talbot holds him up against the ropes and eventually Collins drops back down to his feet.

Collins has Talbot pressed against the ropes, preventing Talbot from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Collins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Talbot shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Collins sprawls well. Collins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Talbot gets slowly back to his feet. Collins slips a jab and a cross from Talbot.
Talbot motions for Collins to come forward. Talbot throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Collins lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Collins.

That's one minute gone in the round. Talbot tries to clinch but Collins moves out of range. Talbot shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Collins counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Talbot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Collins moves into the clinch successfully.

Collins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Talbot swats him away and circles back towards the center. Collins throws out a loose jab but Talbot uses good head movement to avoid it. enabling Talbot to counter with a crisp jab. Collins is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Talbot cracks Collins with a right hand to the side of the head. Collins misses with a series of wild punches.

Talbot trying to control the position from guard on top but Collins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Collins trying to keep a closed guard but Talbot is proving a slippery customer.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Collins can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Talbot slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Collins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jack Talbot's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

He shot from a bit too far out. Talbot tries to clinch but Collins moves out of range. Collins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Talbot throws a body punch but Collins moves out of range. Talbot throws a push kick but Collins slaps the foot to one side. Collins connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Collins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Talbot counters with a lovely straight right hand! Collins misses with a hook. Left hook, right uppercut from Collins. Talbot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Collins tries to avoid it but Talbot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Collins to the ground. Collins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Collins has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Talbot tries to score a body lock takedown but Collins shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Collins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Talbot throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Collins misses with a few strikes there.
Josh Collins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Collins lands a jab to the nose. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Collins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Talbot. Talbot takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Collins works over Talbot's head and body with a nice combination. No luck for Talbot with that takedown attempt. Collins swinging wildly here.
Talbot shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Collins's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Collins is looking to stand up but Talbot isn't so interested in that idea. Collins keeping full guard, as Talbot tries to pass. Collins wants to sweep here but Talbot controlling him for the moment. Talbot passes easily into side control. Nice work. Collins is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Talbot has just dragged him back down to the mat. Talbot in side control, throwing shots but Collins defends.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Talbot working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Talbot thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Collins tries to buck Talbot off but Talbot is having none of it. Talbot throws a strike aimed at the side of Collins's head but Collins avoids it well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Talbot tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Collins is trying to control Talbot's posture but Talbot avoids it.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Collins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Collins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
