Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shon Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Gillean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gillean's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Johnson won't allow Gillean to sweep him here.
Johnson postures up in Gillean's guard and throws a big left but Gillean blocks it.
Gillean can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Johnson controls the pace.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We're going to have a standup here because Shon Johnson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Johnson is pressed up against the cage. Gillean has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Johnson down to the mat. Johnson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Gillean looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Gillean tries to pull guard but Johnson won't allow it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gillean has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gillean there as he acknowledges the shot.
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Gillean fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gillean leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gillean tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Gillean's guard.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Gillean keeps moving.

Gillean working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gillean is tightening it up a little... Johnson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Johnson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Johnson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gillean!

Victor Gillean tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
