The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chavez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Corleone throws a body punch but Chavez moves out of range.

Corleone lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Corleone tries to clinch but Chavez moves out of range.

Chavez throws a hook but Corleone avoids it easily.

and Corleone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Corleone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chavez circles away quickly and effectively.
Corleone drives through and clinches with Chavez against the cage.
Come on Corleone - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Chavez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Corleone pushes Chavez back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Chavez is trying to break the clinch but Corleone is controlling him.
A nice right hand lands inside from Corleone.
Corleone struggles to land a body shot inside as Chavez controls his hands.
Corleone lands with a short punch from the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Chavez throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Corleones head.
Chavez blocks the elbow strike.
