Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raimo Pukki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Last Chance. Pukki has chosen Trololo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrell Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raimo Pukki!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukki jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pukki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Summers was well out of range. Poor timing from Pukki.

Pukki clinches up against the cage.
Pukki lands a body punch.
Pukki lands a left hand.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Pukki.
Pukki is trying to force a seperation but Summers has the dominant position.
Pukki has had enough of the clinch but Summers keeps him there for the moment.
Summers misses with a body punch.
Pukki struggles to land a body shot inside as Summers controls his hands.

Summers drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pukki trying to control the position from guard on top but Summers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pukki wanted to stand there but Summers had control of the position.
Pukki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Raimo Pukki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Pukki counters with a stiff right hand.

Pukki drives through with a takedown into Summers's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Summers wants to free his trapped foot but Pukki is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Summers slows the pace down in half guard.
Summers with the ground and pound but Pukki uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Summers controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Summers throws a jab but it's blocked by Pukki.

Pukki catches Summers with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


It looks like Tyrell Summers has been cut.
Tyrell Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Summers keeps the fight on the outside.
Summers throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pukki counters with a straight right hand.
Pukki jabs at Summers's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pukki, right into the meat.
Summers misses with a looping right.
Pukki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Summers was well out of range. Poor timing from Pukki.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pukki's corner calls for a 1-2. Pukki obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pukki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Summers moves away.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Summers throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pukki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pukki has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Summers misses with a takedown
and Pukki counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Summers counters with a shoot takedown. Pukki fights it but they end up in guard.
Pukki has Summers pulled in close to control his posture.

Pukki wants to stand and escape but Summers is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Summers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pukki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Summers.
Summers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Summers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pukki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Summers tries to score with a low kick but Pukki moves his leg out of the way.

Summers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pukki.
Summers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pukki manages to avoid it.

Summers closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pukki's guard.
Summers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pukki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pukki keeping moving, preventing Summers from controlling successfully.
Pukki is looking to stand up but Summers isn't so interested in that idea.
Pukki seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Summers wants to control from the top but Pukki keeps moving.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Pukki lands a jab to the head.
Summers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pukki sprawls well. Pukki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Summers gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Summers ducks under a wild hook from Pukki.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyrell Summers.
I think Summers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
