Ellis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ellis looking to score a takedown here. Elbe is defending well but Ellis drives through and ends up in Elbe's guard.
Ellis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elbe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ellis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ellis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ellis is trying to get an arm triangle but Elbe is defending well.
