Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simba Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Danny Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Simba Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Marshall! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Burns to the ground! Marshall dives into full mount looking to finish!
Burns is rocked!
It looks like Simba Burns has been cut. Burns can't escape the position.
Oh Burns is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Marshall manages to capitalize on a mistake by Burns to take his back! Marshall biding his time, controlling Burns. Burns seems to have got his legs back now. Burns might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Burns tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Burns is looking to improve his position but Marshall isn't that keen on the idea. Burns is working hard here to advance position. Marshall in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Burns tries to improve his position but instead Marshall has taken his back! Marshall wants to control but Burns is keeping busy. Burns is taking damage to the body and head. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Marshall throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Marshall is trying to stick to Burns's back but Burns is turning into Marshall. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Marshall's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Burns. Marshall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Burns is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Marshall is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Marshall has escaped and now he's on top! Burns looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Burns is breathing heavily. Marshall wants to get up but he can't break Burns's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Marshall trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. Marshall might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Burns kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Burns has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marshall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns wants to hit a switch here but Marshall passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Burns there! Burns can't escape the position.
Burns gets back to half guard. Burns looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Burns tries to roll over but Marshall keeps him under control. Burns moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Marshall looking to sit in guard and control but Burns gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Burns tries to free his leg and advance position but Marshall is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall keeping moving, preventing Burns from controlling successfully. Burns avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Burns trying to control the position from guard on top but Marshall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burns postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Marshall is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Burns, into his guard. Marshall trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. Marshall wants to pass the guard but Burns is keeping the position. Marshall won't allow Burns to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Marshall dominated that round. The cut man is working on Simba Burns's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Marshall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Burns wants to improve his position but Marshall is controlling well.
Marshall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Burns doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Marshall. Burns looking for submissions off his back. Burns is looking for a sweep. Marshall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Burns is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Marshall jumps into side control! Burns is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns trying his best to control but Marshall has mounted him. Burns regains half guard. Burns actively working from the bottom here. Burns is looking to improve his position.
Burns is in trouble now - Marshall has advanced to mount! Marshall with good strikes from the mount here! Burns is looking to improve his position but Marshall isn't that keen on the idea. Marshall get's back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Burns scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Lee Marshall has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Marshall throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Burns's head. Nice body punch from Burns. Burns throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Burns closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burns lands in his opponent's guard. Burns forces his way into half guard. Burns trying to mount his opponent but Marshall defends it. Burns is looking for a kimura but Marshall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Burns to get the leverage. Marshall is trying to get back to full guard. Burns working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Marshall's thigh. Marshall counters though and makes it back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall wants to sweep but no luck. Burns loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Marshall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Marshall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burns swats him away and circles back towards the center. Simba Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burns will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Burns shoots in and bounces Marshall off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Marshall keeping full guard, as Burns tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Burns is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Marshall Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Burns's back instead. Burns tries to escape but Marshall has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Marshall doesn't have the hooks in and Burns manages to turn into his guard.
Burns stopping the sweep attempt from Marshall. Marshall wants to stand but Burns is controlling the position. Burns sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marshall's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Burns is working for a submission of some sort.
Simba Burns overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Burns is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Marshall has managed to free his arm - good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simba Burns dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Marshall has his takedown stuffed and Burns counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Burns pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marshall is keeping the position for now. Burns drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Marshall dives on top into guard. Burns looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marshall is one step ahead there. Burns throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Marshall won't allow Burns to sweep him here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Marshall gets to his feet. Burns looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns throws a right and a left that both miss. Simba Burns is winning the standup battle so far. Burns throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Burns throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Marshall slips a jab and a cross from Burns.
Burns shoots in looking for a takedown. Marshall tries to sprawl out of it but Burns keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Marshall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Marshall defending well as Burns loads up on a big left hand. Burns misses with a series of wild punches.
Marshall tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Burns fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marshall on the side of the head. Marshall doesn't manage to clinch there - Burns circles away.
Marshall scores with a head kick.
Burns misses with a series of wild punches.
Marshall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall stands up. This has been an exciting period of action! Burns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marshall moves away. Simba Burns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Marshall doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Burns to counter with a crisp jab. Marshall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Simba Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Marshall. Burns stalks Marshall and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Marshall's face. Marshall staggers backwards, shaken. Marshall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marshall lands in his opponent's guard. Burns manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Marshall has his hands clasped together but Burns breaks the hold and Marshall is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Burns!
