Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goodnight Irene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rambo Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawajiri has chosen Ninja as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawajiri displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Irene throws out the jab.
Kawajiri shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Irene as he avoids it easily.

Irene clobbers Kawajiri with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Goodnight Irene is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Irene lands with a nice combination. Kawajiri backs away looking to recover.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kawajiri is defended easily by Irene.
Kawajiri tries to keep at a distance but Irene has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kawajiri is trying desperately to land a takedown but Irene is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kawajiri.
Irene crunches a lovely knee into Kawajiri's ribcage.
Irene breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Irene fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kawajiri, pushing him back against the cage.

Kawajiri changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Irene fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kawajiri shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Irene sprawls well. Irene wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kawajiri gets slowly back to his feet.
Irene jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Irene comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Irene throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kawajiri stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Irene lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kawajiri backwards.

Irene rushes Kawajiri and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kawajiri takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kawajiri gets tackled into the cage by Irene. Irene maintains the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Irene leaves Kawajiri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kawajiri ducks right into an uppercut from Irene.
Kawajiri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Irene's waist but Irene gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kawajiri off to one side.
Goodnight Irene has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rambo Kawajiri.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kawajiri is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Irene is defending well.

Clinched against the cage, Irene lands a big elbow that drops Kawajiri! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Kawajiri is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Goodnight Irene!
Goodnight Irene very nearly forgot to thank Brute amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
