The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Palicki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Palicki is looking to clinch but Jesus is avoiding it.

Jesus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Palicki manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Palicki is trying to keep Jesus in close.
Palicki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jesus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jesus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Palicki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jesus has Palicki in his guard.

Palicki is in close to Jesus's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Palicki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jesus looking for a triangle here. Palicki is fighting it but it looks tight! Jesus pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Palicki is tapping out - this one is all over!
