Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Bellanca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellanca comes into the arena with Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold blaring out of the sound system. Romeo Bellanca is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Romeo Bellanca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rey Malapitan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malapitan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Malapitan drives through with a takedown into Bellanca's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Malapitan wants to control from the top but Bellanca keeps moving.

Bellanca is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bellanca working for submissions but it's allowed Malapitan to get to half guard.

Malapitan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bellanca defends it well.
Malapitan winds up and cracks Bellanca with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Bellanca is looking for a sweep. Malapitan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bellanca works his way to full guard. Good work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Malapitan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Malapitan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Malapitan wants to control from the top but Bellanca keeps moving.
Malapitan is working Bellanca over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bellanca not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Romeo Bellanca will probably get the nod.

Malapitan avoids the body shot from Bellanca.
Malapitan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bellanca pinned against the cage. Bellanca gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bellanca throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Bellanca counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rey Malapitan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Malapitan fails with the takedown
and Bellanca cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Romeo Bellanca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rey Malapitan.
Malapitan shoots in and drives through. Bellanca sprawls well.
Malapitan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bellanca scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Malapitan doesn't seem bothered though.
Bellanca scores with a one two! Malapitan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Rey Malapitan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bellanca is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bellanca lands a nice looking body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Malapitan takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Malapitan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bellanca connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Malapitan momentarily.


Malapitan is rocked!
Bellanca jabs Malapitan to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Malapitan is still on wobbly legs! Can Bellanca finish him?
Malapitan tries to move into range but Bellanca moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
BOOM! Bellanca lands a beautiful left hook that drops Malapitan. Malapitan tries to recover but Bellanca is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Malapitan lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Romeo Bellanca!
After winning the bout, Romeo Bellanca thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
