The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Curtez Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walters pinned against the cage. Walters gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Walters connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Walters throws a body kick that misses.
Walters throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Curtez Silva.
Walters buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Curtez Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Walters looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
