Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Kondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Zangief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zangief has chosen We Own It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Travis Zangief enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Zangief, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big right from Kondo misses.
Zangief throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kondo.
It looks like Yuki Kondo has been cut.
Zangief ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Zangief throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Kondo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zangief manages to avoid it.
Kondo thows a body shot but no joy.
Zangief throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zangief looks to land a combination but Kondo avoids it well.

Kondo is rocked!
Zangief uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kondo.

A left and a right from Zangief both land. Nice combination.
Oh Kondo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zangief connects with a combination that backs up Kondo into the cage. Zangief lands a flurry of punches that gets past Kondo's guard. Kondo is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Zangief bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Travis Zangief!
Travis Zangief really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Xtreme Merchandise logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
