Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jukki Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naturo Xpenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Naturo Xpenza!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makkonen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Xpenza.
Xpenza stuns Makkonen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Xpenza swings for the body but Makkonen moves out of range.
Makkonen moves out of range of the strikes.
Xpenza pushes Makkonen up against the cage in a clinch.
Xpenza tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Makkonen's elbow.
Xpenza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Xpenza closes the distance but Makkonen moves to the side
enabling Makkonen to counter with a crisp jab.
Xpenza punishes Makkonen's body with a nice straight punch.
Xpenza lands a body shot.
Xpenza misses with a shot to the body
and Makkonen counters with a series of strikes. Xpenza will be more careful next time no doubt.
Xpenza moves out of range as Makkonen throws a body kick.

Xpenza fails with an attempt to clinch.
Makkonen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Makkonen controls the position.

Makkonen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xpenza keeps working.
Makkonen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Xpenza tries to improve position but can't.
Xpenza manages to work his way to half guard, despite Makkonen's best efforts.
Makkonen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Makkonen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Xpenza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Makkonen lands a nice short elbow.

Xpenza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Makkonen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Makkonen wants to control from the top but Xpenza keeps moving.
Makkonen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Xpenza swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Xpenza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Makkonen is sitting in close to Xpenza's body. Xpenza has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Makkonen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Makkonen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Xpenza.
