Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Owen Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Jay Franlkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Breaking Benjamin - Bulls On Parade. Franlkin has chosen ACDC- For Those About To Rock as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Owen Rose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Jay Franlkin! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franlkin throws a right hand that misses
and Rose counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Franlkin is trying to stand back up but Rose is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rose throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Franlkin is not content to let Rose control the position. Franlkin is trying to stand back up but Rose is controlling him
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rose thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Franlkin's head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rose lands a nice short elbow. Franlkin blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rose. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Franlkin wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rose throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rose missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rose looks to land a strike but Franlkin avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Franlkin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rose. Franlkin has momentary wrist control but Rose slips an elbow through the middle. Rose won't allow Franlkin to get back to his feet. Rose throws a big right hand that misses. Rose trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rose working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Franlkin's head. Rose connects with a couple of short punches. Rose loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Franlkin wants to get back to his feet but Rose is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Franlkin pushes Rose off and gets back to his feet.
Rose takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Franlkin throws a body punch but Rose moves out of range. Rose ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rose closes this distance looking for a takedown but Franlkin circles away. Rose scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Franlkin throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Rose throws a right hand that misses
and Franlkin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rose thinking. Richard Jay Franlkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Franlkin lands with an overhand left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Franlkin with a hook. Franlkin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rose misses with an uppercut
and Franlkin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Franlkin lands a slapping body shot.
Franlkin lands a right hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A punch combination from Franlkin misses. Franlkin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Franlkin throws a right and a left that both miss. A combination from Franlkin does no damage. Nice jab there from Rose. Franlkin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Franlkin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rose counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rose lands a decent elbow from side control. Rose is looking to take a break and control but Franlkin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rose working the ground and pound from side control. Franlkin taking a bit of punishment here - Rose scoring with strikes. Rose prevents Franlkin from escaping the position. Rose misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Rose throws a strike aimed at the side of Franlkin's head but Franlkin avoids it well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rose working the head with strikes. Rose creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Franlkin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rose has just dragged him back down to the mat. Rose tries to move into full mount but can't pass Franlkin's legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Owen Rose will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Rose lands an overhand right. Franlkin drops Rose with a left right combo! Franlkin follows him down to the ground into side control.
Rose is rocked!
It looks like Owen Rose has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Franlkin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rose to his feet. Oh Rose is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Franlkin is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Rose flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rose is out cold! Franlkin holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
