The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kage slips a jab from Silver.
Kage takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
An inside leg kick lands from Kage.
Silver stuns Kage with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kage scores with a head kick. Silver tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A jab lands there for Silver.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silver lands a jab to the nose.
Kage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silver fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kage manages to avoid it.
Silver misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kage.
Kage swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kage jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silver misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silver.

Kage throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kage scores with a head kick. Silver tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Silver blocks a head kick by Kage.
Silver misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kage.
Kage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silver dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A left lands for Silver.
Silver thows a body shot but no joy.
Silver tries to bum rush Kage with a series of wild strikes but Kage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nathan Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver blocks a head kick by Kage.
Silver blocks the body kick.
Silver scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A head kick by Kage misses
and Silver counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silver thows a body shot but no joy.
Kage shoots in but Silver avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Silver's corner calls for a 1-2. Silver obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Silver digs a good hook to Kage's body.
A punch lands to the side of Kage 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kage is rocked!
Silver really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Kage drops his hands momentarily. Silver doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kage staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kage doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Silver!
Nathan Silver really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Damnfield clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
