Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harrison Hansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogue Four! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Four throws a hook to the side of Hansen's head but Hansen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hansen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Four wants to clinch. Hansen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Four stuffs the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Four fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hansen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Four throws a looping overhand right but Hansen ducks down to avoid it. Hansen pushes Four up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Four tries to throw a body punch but Hansen avoids it by throwing Four back against the cage. Four drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hansen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hansen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Four avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harrison Hansen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hansen shoots in and drives through. Four sprawls well. Four displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hansen. Hansen tries to clinch there but Four circles away.
Hansen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen is trying to trip Four. He has hold of a leg but Four is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hansen persists though and gets the takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Four working a defensive guard here.
Hansen is sitting in close to Four's body. Four has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hansen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hansen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Four.
