Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenshin Takezo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Blackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takezo's entrance music is Pride FC Theme song. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshin Takezo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Blackman! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blackman throws a wild body kick that Takezo sees coming a mile off. Takezo moves in looking to clinch but Blackman pushes him off. Takezo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Takezo scores with a jab to the head.
Takezo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Blackman stuffs the takedown attempt from Takezo. Takezo gets slowly back to his feet. Takezo scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Blackman fails with the takedown. Takezo throws a series of punches but Blackman moves out of range. Kenshin Takezo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blackman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blackman content to control rather than advance. Takezo is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blackman sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Takezo defending well though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Blackman is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Frank Blackman. Blackman wants to clinch up but Takezo keeps it at a distance. Takezo cracks Blackman with a right hand to the side of the head. Horrible takedown by Blackman or perhaps it was just good defense by Takezo which made him look bad. Left hook, right uppercut from Takezo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takezo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Blackman controlling Takezo's posture. Let's hope that Blackman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Takezo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blackman is keeping the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Frank Blackman was stalling too much, according to the referee. Blackman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Takezo misses its intended target. Takezo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Takezo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blackman as he jumps to the side. Takezo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Takezo fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenshin Takezo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Takezo throws a lazy right hand but Blackman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Takezo. Takezo is breathing heavily. Takezo needs to keep his hands up - Blackman had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Kenshin Takezo has been cut. Blackman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takezo fails to land with a series of punches.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Takezo. Blackman shrugs it off though. Blackman has Takezo up against the cage in a clinch.
Takezo gets underhooks to prevent Blackman's takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Knees in the clinch landing for Blackman.
A frustrated look appears on Takezo's face as he tries to break the clinch. Blackman wants to take the fight to the mat but Takezo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blackman lands a right hand. Blackman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Takezo throws a push kick but Blackman slaps the foot to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kenshin Takezo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kenshin Takezo's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Blackman cracks the inside of Takezo's front leg. Takezo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blackman. A head kick misses from Blackman. Takezo throws a head kick but Blackman moves out of range.
Takezo is looking to clinch. Blackman scores with a head kick. Takezo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Blackman tries a head kick but it misses.
Takezo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Blackman. A head kick misses from Takezo. Takezo fails with the takedown. Takezo tries to clinch there but Blackman circles away.
Kenshin Takezo is winning the standup battle so far. Takezo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takezo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blackman circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenshin Takezo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blackman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Takezo keeps the fight on the outside. Kenshin Takezo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Blackman blocks the body kick.
Blackman pushes Takezo up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Takezo's face as he tries to break the clinch. Takezo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick lands from Blackman that sends Takezo to the canvas. Takezo tries to scramble back to his feet but Blackman brings him back down into side control.
Takezo is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blackman is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Takezo is trying to escape and Blackman transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Takezo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Blackman! Very nice indeed!
