Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yize Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Mir could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yize Li's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yize Li! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li tries to clinch but Mir is having none of it. Li slips a jab and a cross from Mir.
Li wants to clinch but Mir slips to the side and Mir counters by moving into the clinch. Mir drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Li gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mir is looking to take this one to the mat. Mir keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Li's efforts to push away. Mir goes for a takedown attempt but Li pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Mir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Li doesn't manage to clinch there - Mir circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li wants to clinch but Mir slips to the side and Mir holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mir fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mir prevents a body shot from Li. Mir swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Li gets underhooks to prevent Mir's takedown attempt.
Li scores with a shoulder strike. Mir goes for a takedown attempt but Li pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mir shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Li sprawls well. Li wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mir gets slowly back to his feet. Mir is breathing heavily. Li tries to clinch up. Yize Li is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mir shoots in for a takedown but Li shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mir misses with a takedown attempt - Li sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Li misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Li looks to clinch and Li takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Li doesn't manage to clinch there - Mir circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Li stalling the fight.

A short uppercut from Li. Mir prevents a body shot from Li. Li just leaning against Mir, taking a breather. Mir tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Li just stands there and leans against the cage. Mir is trying to force a seperation but Li has the dominant position. Mir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Li rushes Mir and presses him up against the cage. Mir is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Li is defending well. Mir is trying to drag Li to the mat but Li just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Li should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Li working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Li. Mir is trying to pull guard but Li has him pressed against the cage. Li lands a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yize Li dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Li is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Li manages to break the clinch.
Yize Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Li moves into the clinch. Mir is trying to break the clinch but Li has him pressed against the cage. Li is defending well against a takedown attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A bit of stalling here from Li.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Li creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Li tries to stall but Mir uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Mir drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mir is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Li pulls him back up using the underhooks. Li tries to throw a body punch but Mir avoids it by throwing Li back against the cage. A body shot lands from Li.
Li has Mir pressed against the cage, preventing Mir from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Li. Li misses with a hook to the ribs.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Li creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A shot in the inside from Li. Come on Li - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Li doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mir is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Li is defending well. Mir is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yize Li showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Mir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. A short left from Li. Li is pushing Mir up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Li lands with a light punch inside. Yize Li seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Li. A short right from Li on the inside. Mir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir shoots in for a double leg but Li sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Li connects with a looping right hand.
Mir is rocked! Li grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Mir takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Li cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
