Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Kafka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Denke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kafka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome to the Jungle. The crowd seem to be enjoying Denke's choice of entrance music: Runnin With The Devil. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Viktor Kafka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Denke! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Kafka - just one landing. Denke looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Viktor Kafka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good standup being displayed there by Kafka as he connects with a hook. Kafka throws a predictable looking body shot
and Denke counters with a single leg into guard. Kafka didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Denke trying to control but Kafka is working from the bottom. Denke trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kafka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Denke. Denke missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Denke must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kafka keeping moving, preventing Denke from controlling successfully. Kafka is controlling Denke's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kafka manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Denke sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Denke has his hands clasped together around Kafka's back. He's all about the action. Kafka sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Denke defending well though. Denke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Denke is looking to control Kafka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Denke avoid being mounted? Kafka prevents Denke from improving his position. Denke wants to control the action here but instead Kafka manages to pass to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Denke holds on, trying desperately to control. Denke is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kafka avoids the attempt from Denke to control. Kafka is landing with some decent strikes but Denke is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Denke is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kafka looking to finish Denke with some ground and pound. This is bad for Denke! Denke gets back to half guard. Kafka lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Denke tries to get to full guard but Kafka has control of the leg. Denke wants to get back to his feet. Denke is looking to improve his position.

Denke wants to get back to full guard. Kafka sitting and controlling from the half guard. Denke is looking for a sweep. Kafka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kafka wants to take a breather but Denke is having none of it. Denke is positioning himself well to prevent Kafka advancing to mount.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Viktor Kafka. Denke throws a sloppy head kick and Kafka moves out of range easily. Kafka avoids the head kick by Denke.
Denke connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kafka cracks Denke with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Denke is looking to score with low kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Denke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kafka. Denke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kafka wants to land a leg kick but Denke is out of range. Denke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Denke looks to land a body kick but Kafka moved away. Kafka throws a leg kick and Denke counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kafka thinking. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Denke keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Denke throws a hook but Kafka blocks it. Denke lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Viktor Kafka has been cut. Denke thows a left - swing and a miss! Viktor Kafka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kafka drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kafka throws a poor cross that misses
and Denke counters with an inside leg kick. Kafka tries to land a front kick but Denke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Karl Denke will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Viktor Kafka's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kafka throws a body punch but Denke moves out of range. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Denke lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kafka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kafka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kafka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Denke misses the target. Kafka misses with an uppercut
and Denke counters with a takedown into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Denke. Denke trying to control the action but Kafka is working from the bottom. Denke wants to take a breather but Kafka manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Denke. Denke connects with a couple of short punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Denke trying to control the position from guard on top but Kafka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Denke throws a big elbow that misses. Denke engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kafka is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Denke wants to control from the top but Kafka keeps moving. Kafka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Denke. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Denke throwing strikes but missing. Denke stopping the sweep attempt from Kafka.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kafka working for a triangle but Denke defends it easily.

We're going to have a standup here because Viktor Kafka wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kafka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Denke.
Kafka bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Denke's head backwards. Kafka throws a leg kick and Denke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kafka lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Denke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kafka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kafka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kafka connects with a crisp jab. Kafka goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kafka lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Denke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kafka is fending him off so far but Denke persists. Nope, Kafka circles away and we're back to standing. Kafka misses with a wild body shot. Denke looks to land a body kick but Kafka moved away. Denke lands a body shot.

Denke dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kafka ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good standup being displayed there by Denke as he connects with a hook. Denke slips a straight right by Kafka. Kafka jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kafka swings for the body but Denke moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kafka lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kafka misses with a wild body shot. Kafka throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Denke throws a quick inside leg kick. Denke feints and then cracks Kafka's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kafka down. Denke fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kafka, as that shot connected.
Denke walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kafka. Kafka swings for the body but Denke moves out of range.
Denke shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kafka as he jumps to the side. Kafka misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kafka thows a body kick. Denke tries to catch it but that hurt him. Viktor Kafka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A slow jab from Kafka misses its intended target. Kafka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kafka misses the shot to the body. Denke fails with the takedown. Kafka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Denke doesn't seem bothered though. Kafka tests Denke's chin there with a solid looking shot. Denke throws a shot from downtown. Kafka moves away and avoids it. Kafka on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kafka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A looping hook to the body misses from Kafka. Denke does a little dance to reset his feet. Denke stuns Kafka with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Jab from Kafka. Kafka throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Denke lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kafka's sensitive parts. Kafka misses with a body shot.

Kafka is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Denke ducks under a wild hook from Kafka. Kafka tries a head kick but it misses.

Kafka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Denke defends it easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Denke scoring with punches to the head and body.
And that's the end of the fight! Karl Denke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Denke winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
