The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawanmali misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Freeman moves into the clinch.
Freeman blocks the elbow strike.
Lawanmali blocks a body shot from Freeman.
Freeman struggles to land a body shot inside as Lawanmali controls his hands.
Freeman misses with a punch to the body.
Lawanmali wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lawanmali is looking for a takedown.
Lawanmali has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Freeman after a bit of a struggle.
Freeman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lawanmali or not.
Lawanmali breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
