Erikson clinches up with Van Winkle and pushes him back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Erikson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Van Winkle is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Erikson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Erikson successfully pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Erikson is pulling down on Van Winkle's head. It's preventing any offense from Van Winkle, at least for the moment.
Erikson wants to stand but Van Winkle is controlling the position.

Erikson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Van Winkle looks calm but he's in trouble here. Erikson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Van Winkle is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Erikson lets go of the hold and Van Winkle can pop his arm back in it's socket.
