Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Knuckle Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by Gimme Shelter. Soto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Busta Rhymes Feat Eminem - I'll Hurt You . Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 2, fighting out of London, Knuckle Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luiz Soto! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Soto lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Soto. Soto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stone is holding on to half guard well. Stone blocking the ground and pound attempt from Soto. Stone won't allow Soto to pass to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone wants to improve his position but Soto is controlling well.

Stone is trying to get back to full guard. Soto throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Soto not landing any meaningful shots this time. Soto lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Soto working over Stone with some ground and pound. Stone looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Soto is trying to control. Stone wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luiz Soto dominated that round. That's time! Stone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Stone leaves Soto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Soto shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Soto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Soto slips a jab from Stone. Soto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away. Knuckle Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Soto. Stone is looking to chop away at Soto's legs. Soto fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Soto. Stone lands a nice hook to Soto's body. Soto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. An inside leg kick lands from Stone. No joy for Soto on that attempt. Stone throws out a powerful jab. Soto shoots in and drives through. Stone sprawls well. Luiz Soto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stone on his heels. He'll look to pass Stone's guard now, I'm sure. Soto throws a strike but Stone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stone trying to stand up but can't free himself from Soto's guard. Luiz Soto has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Soto wants to hit a switch here but Stone passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Soto there! Soto bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! This has been an exciting period of action! Soto won't allow Stone to sweep him here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Soto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Soto throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Soto is one step ahead there.

This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Soto throwing shots but Stone is blocking nicely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Soto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stone can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
