Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Yuber!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuber shoots for a takedown but Giver saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yuber dives in and grabs Giver's left leg, looking for a takedown. Giver pushes down on Yuber's head and hops out.
Nice sprawl there from Giver as Yuber shoots in.
Upi Giver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Yuber.
Yuber misses with a takedown
and Giver connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yuber darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Giver is desperately trying to improve his position but Yuber has a good base and remains in mount.
Yuber throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Yuber trying to control but Giver is having none of it.
Yuber prevents Giver from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yuber working for a submission but Giver is keeping him at bay.

Yuber moves to the back position.
Yuber is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Giver has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Yuber has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Giver taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Yuber doesn't care though - he's delighted!
