The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

and Boukerma moves into the clinch.

Boukerma keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wallace's efforts to push away.
Wallace tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Boukerma just stands there and leans against the cage.

Boukerma should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That was a close round but I would say that Rodney Wallace will probably get the nod.

Wallace fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boukerma avoids it really well and circles away.
Wallace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boukerma's waist but Boukerma gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallace off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rodney Wallace.
