And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Renninger!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renninger takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nice sprawl there from Renninger as Jackson shoots in.
Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Renninger swivels and escapes.
Renninger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Renninger wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shamar Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Renninger throws a leg kick which misses Jackson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jackson tries to avoid it.
A left lands for Renninger.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jackson drives through with a takedown into Renninger's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Renninger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jackson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Renninger defend it? Jackson steps over the head and cranks it - Renninger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jackson!

Shamar Jackson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
