The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Oliva as Watanabe shoots in.
No joy there for Watanabe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Watanabe takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Kengo Watanabe has been cut.
Watanabe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oliva throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Watanabe sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oliva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Watanabe takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Watanabe throws a combination that misses
and Oliva counters with a thumping low kick.
Oliva is looking to slow Watanabe down with leg kicks.
Oliva feints and then cracks Watanabe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Watanabe down.
Watanabe is breathing heavily.
Watanabe misses with a wild body shot.
Crunch! Oliva slams his shin into Watanabe's torso.
Oliva pushes Watanabe away with a front kick.
Oliva lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Oliva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Watanabe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Oliva - the referee stops the clock and Watanabe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Oliva. Watanabe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Watanabe throws a series of punches but Oliva avoids them all with ease.
Oliva scoring well with a low kick there.
Samir Oliva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Oliva.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Oliva, right into the meat.
The fighters circle, before Oliva throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Watanabe's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Oliva lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
