Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wedge Xiii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xiii's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tenacious D - Master Exploder. Saunders has chosen Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Saunders was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiii misses with a leg kick
and Saunders connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Xiii fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Saunders sprawls well initially but Xiii persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Saunders wants to get back to full guard.
Xiii moves into full mount! Saunders won't be happy about that!
Saunders keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Saunders wants to control but Xiii is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saunders accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Saunders is looking to pass into half guard but Xiii pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Xiii is in guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Xiii swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Xiii throws a sloppy head kick and Saunders moves out of range easily.
Xiii swings for the body but Saunders moves out of range.
Saunders stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Saunders wants it to stay on the feet.
Xiii uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Saunders has time to react.
Saunders shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xiii pinned against the cage. Xiii gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Xiii just misses with a punch to the body.
Saunders misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Xiii checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Xiii closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saunders's guard.

Wedge Xiii overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Xiii closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Our winner, Wedge Xiii, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
