And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harlem Neil!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws an overhand right that lands on Neil's shoulder, as Neil tries to avoid the shot.
Neil looks for a takedown but Joe sprawls well.
Joe throws a hook to the side of Neil's head but Neil sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Neil keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Joe.
Neil uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Joe.
Joe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Neil.
Neil bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Joe throws a big shot that misses.

Joe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Neil uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Joe.

so Neil counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That was a close round but I would say that Average Joe will probably get the nod.

Joe has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
