The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macready uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Edgars.
Edgars throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Edgars scores with a crisp jab that stopped Macready in his tracks.
Edgars throws a predictable looking body shot
and Macready counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Edgars thinking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Edgars. Macready does a little dance to reset his feet.
Edgars misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Macready tries to clinch but Edgars is having none of it.
Edgars attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Edgars misses with an attempted mid kick.
Macready fails in his attempt to clinch.
Macready takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Macready displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Edgars throws out the jab.

and Macready counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Edgars! He's just covering up as Macready starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
