Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Avro Lancaster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Beezy! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Beezy looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Beezy shoots in and drives through. Lancaster sprawls well. Nice takedown defense from Lancaster. No joy for Beezy on that attempt. Beezy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beezy misses with a takedown and Lancaster counters with a shoot takedown. Beezy fights it but they end up in guard. Avro Lancaster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Beezy. Lancaster trying to control but Beezy is working from the bottom. Beezy trying to keep a closed guard but Lancaster is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Beezy was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lancaster jabs Beezy right on the nose. Beezy blinks but takes it well. Beezy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lancaster connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beezy scrambles back to his feet. Beezy looking to score a takedown here. Lancaster is defending well but Beezy drives through and ends up in Lancaster's guard. Lancaster is looking for a triangle but Beezy pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beezy is looking to stand up but Lancaster won't let him. Beezy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lancaster working for a triangle but Beezy defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beezy preventing the sweep.

Lancaster is fighting to maintain full guard but Beezy has managed to sneak the leg through. Beezy wants to work for an arm triangle but Lancaster is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Beezy stalling. Beezy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lancaster sees it coming and defends easily. Lancaster is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Beezy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beezy's back! Beezy has hold of Lancaster's leg, trying to break free but it's let Lancaster lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Beezy is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Lancaster throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
