Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Owen Stubbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Ramsey will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Owen Stubbs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luke Ramsey! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stubbs closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ramsey to the mat! Ramsey manages to get full guard. Stubbs tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramsey is retaining full guard. Stubbs is working hard here to advance position. Ramsey looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Stubbs is looking to work some ground and pound but Ramsey has wrist control. Stubbs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ramsey lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stubbs! Stubbs might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Stubbs is trying desperately to improve position. Ramsey swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Stubbs is now in Ramsey's guard. A big mistake from Ramsey there, giving up the dominant position!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stubbs controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ramsey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ramsey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ramsey keeping moving, preventing Stubbs from controlling successfully. Stubbs cracks Ramsey with a solid left hand. Stubbs is stalling in the full guard. Ramsey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Stubbs postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stubbs throwing strikes from guard but Ramsey blocks nicely. Ramsey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stubbs trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramsey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stubbs is in close to Ramsey's body, working some short punches and elbows. Stubbs trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramsey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stubbs stopping the sweep attempt from Ramsey. Ramsey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stubbs's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stubbs is trying to keep Ramsey in close.
Stubbs is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ramsey is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Stubbs is breathing heavily. Stubbs keeping full guard, as Ramsey tries to pass. Stubbs wants to sweep here but Ramsey controlling him for the moment. Stubbs is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ramsey preventing the sweep. Stubbs working a defensive guard here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ramsey stuffs the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stubbs on the wrong end of a nice hook. Stubbs fails to land the takedown. Stubbs closes the distance and clinches. Ramsey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ramsey is fighting off a takedown attempt but Stubbs is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ramsey to the mat. Ramsey regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Stubbs postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Stubbs with a flurry of punches that miss. Stubbs working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ramsey's head. Stubbs advances to half guard. Stubbs wants to take a breather but Ramsey is having none of it. Ramsey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ramsey is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stubbs. Stubbs rushes Ramsey and presses him up against the cage. Ramsey is trying to break free. Ramsey changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stubbs fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ramsey lands a head kick. Stubbs smiles back at him and beckons him forward. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stubbs. Nice sprawl there from Ramsey as Stubbs shoots in. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stubbs fails with the takedown. Owen Stubbs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ramsey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stubbs as he avoids it easily.

Stubbs rushes Ramsey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stubbs is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Stubbs is working for takedown but Ramsey is calmly controlling the position for now. Stubbs gets a trip takedown into half guard. Stubbs looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stubbs wants to free his trapped foot but Ramsey is holding on for dear life with his legs. Stubbs sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ramsey is pressing down on Stubbs's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stubbs drops back looking for a leg! Ramsey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ramsey manages to kick Stubbs off! Stubbs jumps back into Ramsey's guard. Ramsey keeping full guard, as Stubbs tries to pass. Stubbs throwing strikes from guard but Ramsey blocks nicely. Stubbs trying to control but Ramsey is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ramsey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stubbs wants to control from the top but Ramsey keeps moving. Ramsey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stubbs's guard. Ramsey wants to control from the top but Stubbs keeps moving. Ramsey postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ramsey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stubbs's guard. Ramsey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ramsey controlling the pace. Ramsey uses his free foot to push down on Stubbs's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stubbs. Ramsey pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Luke Ramsey will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ramsey darts in and clinches Stubbs up against the cage. Ramsey is looking to control Stubbs's arms but Stubbs gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ramsey has his back to the cage. Stubbs tries for a takedown but Ramsey manages to get underhooks.

Ramsey wants to control from the top but Stubbs keeps moving. Stubbs looking for a sweep. Not yet Stubbs, not yet. Owen Stubbs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ramsey controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Stubbs looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ramsey is one step ahead there. Ramsey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramsey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stubbs is keeping the position for now. Stubbs controls Ramsey momentarily but Ramsey frees himself.

Ramsey scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Stubbs can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stubbs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stubbs tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Ramsey easily slips into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramsey prevents Stubbs from getting the reversal. Ramsey controlling the pace for now. Stubbs is looking to get to half guard. Stubbs tries to lock up and control but Ramsey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stubbs is squirming around, avoiding Ramsey's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramsey blocks Stubbs's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Stubbs regains half guard. Ramsey is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stubbs defends it well. Stubbs tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Ramsey tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stubbs. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stubbs makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stubbs. Ramsey has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stubbs is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ramsey trying to control but Stubbs is working from the bottom. Stubbs looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ramsey is one step ahead there. Ramsey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stubbs's head. Ramsey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ramsey wants to control from the top but Stubbs keeps moving. Stubbs has a closed guard, preventing Ramsey from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Luke Ramsey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ramsey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
