Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jiggaboo Crane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shamus McFey!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFey staying out of range there.
McFey misses with a wild body shot.

McFey looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
McFey wants to control from the top but Crane keeps moving.
Crane trying to keep a closed guard but McFey is proving a slippery customer.
Crane wants to stand and escape but McFey is having none of it.
Crane working a defensive guard here.

Jiggaboo Crane has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Crane throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crane lands a nice looking body shot.
McFey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Crane gets tackled into the cage by McFey. McFey maintains the clinch.

McFey is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Crane to keep the fight standing.

Crane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Crane lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McFey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crane defends it nicely.
Crane uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Good standup being displayed there by Crane as he connects with a hook.
Crane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crane lands a nice looking body shot.
Crane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McFey's head.
Nice takedown defense from Crane. No joy for McFey on that attempt.
Jiggaboo Crane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shamus McFey.
Crane catches McFey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Crane connects with a right hand. McFey shakes it off.
Crane keeps the fight on the outside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McFey throws an overhand right that lands on Crane's shoulder, as Crane tries to avoid the shot.
Shamus McFey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Crane. No joy for McFey on that attempt.
McFey gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Crane moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Crane throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

McFey gets a clinch.
McFey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crane just stands there and leans against the cage.
McFey throws a punch but it's blocked by Crane.

Crane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McFey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck for McFey with that takedown attempt.
Crane sizes up McFey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Crane avoids the head kick by McFey.
McFey takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Crane looks to land a combination. McFey sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
McFey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Crane connects with a body shot.
Crane is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
McFey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crane but Crane pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McFey looks winded!
Crane fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Crane cracks McFey with a right hand to the side of the head.
McFey takes one to the chin there.
McFey misses with a looping right.
Crane tests McFey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McFey takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McFey scores with a shot to the body.
Crane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McFey's head backwards.

McFey closes the distance and clinches.
Crane wants to break the clinch but can't.
A head punch on the inside from McFey fails to land.

Crane manages to break the clinch.
Crane getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McFey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crane sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - McFey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McFey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crane connects with a nice looking jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McFey tries for a takedown but Crane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McFey throws a head kick that misses.
McFey cracks a nice hook into Crane's ribs.
Crane lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McFey shoots for a double leg takedown but Crane sprawls well. He's pushed McFey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crane blocks a head kick by McFey.
Crane scores with a sloppy right hand. McFey should have avoided that one.
Crane throws a shot to the body.
Crane throws a right and a left that McFey avoids nicely.
Crane lands a jab to McFey's midsection.
Crane stuffs the takedown attempt from McFey. McFey gets slowly back to his feet.
McFey misses the shot to the body.
McFey takes one to the chin there.
McFey has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McFey throws a head kick but Crane moves out of range.
Crane sizes up McFey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McFey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McFey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crane circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jiggaboo Crane dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


McFey drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Crane slips under a jab.
Crane avoids the head kick by McFey.
Horrible takedown by McFey or perhaps it was just good defense by Crane which made him look bad.
Crane lands a jab.
Crane lands a nice leg kick that just misses McFey's sensitive parts.
McFey shoots in but no luck this time.
McFey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Crane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McFey takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
McFey throws a body punch but Crane moves out of range.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Crane slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Crane is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
McFey is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Crane.
McFey is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Crane rather than just go for the knockout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crane connects with a right hand. McFey shakes it off.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crane, as that shot connected.

Crane gets caught flat footed, as McFey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
McFey won't allow Crane to get back to his feet.
McFey is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McFey preventing the sweep.
Crane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McFey prevents Crane from getting back to his feet.
McFey trying to control the position from guard on top but Crane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crane is looking to stand up but McFey isn't so interested in that idea.

McFey drops back, looking for a kneebar! Crane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Crane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Crane!
Crane tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McFey is looking to regain half guard here but Crane keeps moving and retains side control.
Crane is looking to take a break and control but McFey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McFey is trying to get back to half guard.
McFey manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

McFey seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Crane is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Shamus McFey!
